Kailin Ceramic Foundry Sand Quality Assurance and Quality Control Procedures
As a developer of Ceramic Foundry Sand, Kailin has a complete set of procedures of quality assurance and quality control, which mainly includes three steps: the inspection of Raw Materials into the factory, the chemical composition inspection of Ceramic Foundry Sand, and the particle size distribution inspection of Ceramic Foundry Sand.
- The Inspection of Raw Materials into Kailin’s Factories:
- The inspection of the raw materials into Kailin’s Factories ensure the quality of Kailin Ceramic Foundry Sand raw materials. The raw materials are mainly bauxite mines. Kailin will select the best quality and most stable raw material suppliers in the mining area, and will carry out commercial cooperation with suppliers after many field visits, sample chemical analysis and other tests. Meanwhile, For each batch of bauxite (100 tons) purchased, 500 kg should be taken and sent to our labs to detect the alumina, iron oxide, and other critical chemical contents. Rigorous control of raw material quality is an indispensable condition for Kailin Ceramic Foundry Sand to stand out from many competitors.
- The Chemical Composition Inspection of Ceramic Foundry Sand:
- The chemical composition is an important indicator of whether Ceramic Foundry Sand products are qualified. Kailin’s five factories are all equipped with specialized chemical analysis laboratory, analysts, and laboratory technicians. In addition, the chemical composition can be analyzed in two main ways, spectroscopic analysis and chemical analysis. Kailin uses both of the methods and compares the experimental data to ensure the quality of Ceramic Foundry Sand and custommer requirements. Due to the complexity of chemical analysis, the following link is the detailed steps and video of Kailin’s chemical analysis
